Dale's political leanings might be considered Libertarian. He is highly suspicious of all levels of government and ardently defends his Second Amendment rights, once remarking, "Guns don't kill people; the government does."
I don't know why everyone was freaking out on Y2K, I told my computer way ahead of time that it was 12/31/1999 just to see what would happen. Nothing! Why couldn't the government do that? Computers don't know what day it is, they have to be told. Anyway, I think I'll get drunk on that day too, why should it be any different?
